• Vision : Satit Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University Under The Royal Patronage Laboratory School develops student in morality, ethics, science, mathematics, technology, and 3 language (Thai, English, Chinese). they emphasize the student centered learning, active learning activities, critical thinking activities, lifelong learning and build the good consciousness in Thai. Prepare the student for the Journey to ASEAN Economic.

Based on my observation in  Grade 1, the learning process taught by using :

1.      Expository method (exploration)

2.      Then students did the exercise in the worksheet and then did game since the they were in Grade 1 (elaboration)

3.      exercise (confirmation)

They also have:

Smart Program, IEP ( Intensive English Program), Science : Mathematics Program, English : Mathematics Program, English Program : Chinese Program.

1.4    Materials and Other Learning Sources

The materials are from books and worksheet. Other learning sources are from internet such as video and pictures related to the topics.

1.5    Measurement and Evaluation System

Evaluation system is giving exercise to students from books or worksheet and asking them to naming, spelling, and coloring pictures.

Satit VRU applies Basic Core Curriculum 2008 CORE 2551 (Thai Curriculum).

I would teach English as foreign language in primary level grade 1/1 EIP Class.

2.1    Teaching Methods

Teaching method is teacher-centered learning. Teacher explained whole the topics then asked students to do task in the book or worksheet

2.2   Learning Materials and Innovation

Teacher showed a kind of property before start the learning to build brain storming of students. All materials came from the book.

2.3   Sources of Learning and Technology.

They have a big TV screen to teach the class. They have the most recent problem solving teaching aid especially English, Science, and Mathematics subject.

2.4   Authentic assessment

Teacher asked students a question. Then, the student who can answer will get a star or ‘I’ roman numeral represent one point score.
