Day 21 - We celebrating Ied in Thailand

As a moeslim, today is our big day in religion. So we should go to masjid to pray and to celebrate it. We search for masjid (mosque) near by and take taxi to get there.

Normally in Thailand, the pray begins at 9 but in Indonesia we start at a half past 7. So, we thought that we were late when arriving at masjid but actually it’s not.

We so confused when listening to the preach because it is the first time we listen preach in Thai language. After the preach we do sholat, then we have some food that the masjid served to us and for people who come to masjid.

Being the minority is so hard. I rarely see people here celebrating ied and it is so weird for me because I can’t feel the day of a big day of moeslim. Generally, in Indonesia, all family gathering for giving apologize and forgiveness each other.
