Day 11 - Mother's Day
All students from primary until college and the teachers always celebrate Mother's Day on the 12th of August. Because of Saturday and Sunday are holidays, so they make the celebration earlier on Friday, 10. This celebration is different in primary, secondary, high school and college, and I celebrating the mother's day with the primary students. It is in the auditorium, 3rd floor of Demonstration School VRU.
The students and the teachers are singing about the beloved Queen Sirikit because mother's day in Thailand is the birthday of the queen. As always, in every celebration especially on mother's day, students showing performance. The performance is traditional dancing, reading poetry, and etc. In this special day, the teacher also asks the students to remember their mom at home and remind about the kindness of their mom. The situation is so quiet. After celebrating at the auditorium, then the students get back to the class with their mom. And they kiss and give flower to their mom as the present of mother’s day.
